In 1987, my friend and frequent bandmate Jerry Vivino, hired me to play his daughter Donna's audition for Les Miserables which led to her being cast as the original Broadway Young Cosette.  Thirty years later, I'm still working with the Vivino family, in Jerry's east coast jazz quartet and as Donna's musical director for her cabaret shows. Jerry and Donna don't often perform together but I love being there when they do.
